Jed R. Wolcott is a Certified Public Accountant, and President of Wolcott & Associates, PA,
a CPA firm with a practice limited to aviation and aviation-related companies. Mr. Wolcott is
originally from Michigan, and graduated from Marmion Military Academy in Aurora, Illinois. He
attended Ohio State University, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University.
He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dayton in 1974.
Mr. Wolcott is a licensed pilot, and his experience includes corporate officer positions with
major fixed base operators, regional commuter airlines, and CFR Part 135 charter operators. In
1981 Mr. Wolcott, as Chief Financial Officer, helped found Northeastern International Airlines,
a post-deregulation Part 121 airline. At its peak, the airline was operating 16 commercial aircraft
to 21 cities, grossing $250 million and 1.9 million passengers annually. Mr. Wolcott left the
airline in 1984 and after serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
a regional airline, formed Wolcott & Associates, PA.
Wolcott & Associates, PA maintains offices on the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE),
one of the country's busiest general aviation airports. The company offers tax, finance, and
consulting services to the business and commercial aviation industry. The company's client
base includes aircraft owners, flight departments, airlines, charter operators, and commercial
pilots. The firm has been accepted as the lead accounting firm for airline and aviation bankruptcies,
and Mr. Wolcott has testified as an expert witness in aviation accounting and finance matters.
The company's client base extends to the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Mr. Wolcott is a member of the National Business Aviation Association Tax Committee, and speaks
regularly at NBAA Tax Conferences and Tax Forums.
